Those are the lyrics to Mac Fingall biting calypso for 2007 entitled “Mummy why ya bite me”
I did not understand this song when I first heard it, then i came to realise it was about a mummybiter aka a mummy who bites. then it all came together.
What I don’t understand is why CBC would ban the song, you cannot take the bite back out so don’t ban the song.
Which is worst a ban or a bite? personally I would rather get bite than ban, biting would be more fun.
Another question is do you prefer to be the biter or the bitey?
Depends on who is doing the biting!
Maybe the biting had something to do with taste, which leads you back to conch and sauce and what is it that calypsonians have with eating in 2007?

De First minute I heard that song, I loved it.
I thought to myself back in the day, when parents used to correct children for wrong doings, they’d bite, spank, lick, beat etc and a child would never answer back..
But in a day like today, when the cost of living is so high and sugar is no longer 50c/lb, its hard for a woman to cum, home and find out dat de daughter give away de sugar, so de first reaction would be to bit her up chew her and spit her out.
Only now would daughters be so puignacious as to ask Maami Y u bite me?

is the voice of reason saying that mi maami bite me is what the girl is saying— there is a song called –eating raw–may be maami mis construed the song. maamis used to really bite their children in the past—–biting was actually a big thing—

WITH ALL THIS BITING GO N ON SOMEBODY GINE SURE IN UP N DE HORSPITLE CAUSE BITING LIKE IT NOW DANGEROUS TO YA HEALTH.
