“I want to dip my Cherry in your Chocolate ….”
That’s sounds like a cheesy romantic come-on doesn’t it? Or a cherry one. Well don’t write it off yet, it happened for real.
Did you read the newspaper about what got Saskia Griffith withdrawn from being the Banks 2007 Calendar Girl? Apparently Saskia was the centre piece at a Power by Four fete at “The Party Stand” venue sitting topless in a rubber pool filled with chocolate. As a special treat, party patrons got to dip marshmallows and cherries into the Saskia chocolate and eat them.
Now that’s what you call eating a girl – literally. That would be like tasting a Saskia Chocolate Smoothie then. Does that sound delicious too you? Would you have dipped your cherry or marshmallow in and taken a taste? I think Saskia makes an interesting ingredient for a meal. The first thing that would cross my mind is that I would hope the first ingredient “Saskia” would be well scrubbed.
Are you appalled that such an eating activity happened? Or are you appalled that such a girl dish was offered on the party stand menu and you were not invited? If it were advertised properly, I am sure more men and some women – that like the taste of cherries, marsh mallows and chocolate – would have attended .
It could probably be said that the whole Saskia controversy is Peter Boyce and them Madd Fellows fault, (you know how people like to blame us for every thing). Saskia was obviously influenced by Madd’s 1997 song, “Food” which compares women to “food”. Of course, don’t forget RPB has a song this year which refers to women as being “sweet” like food too, so he would have to take some of the blame too.
I tell you one thing though, it is unfortunate that Saskia was withdrawn as the Banks Calendar 2007 Girl as that was one of the most eye catching posters for some time, she look so good then, good enough for some people to eat!

i am a bit reluctant because i feel i am making too many comments and i feel a bit guilty about that.—dont want to come across as hogging the show i.e over doing it
however, i want somebody to tell me the rationale for the activity as described in this particular case. why would some body be in a pool of chocolate pratically naked and then people-FEMALES ? dipping things in and eating
what is this all about ——-is it supposed to be a sexual turn on or sumting —-what is it —why is it happening ? somebody please talk to me

Yes, Saskia is a very beautiful and sexy young lady but no way should she be displaying this type of behaviour in public. Leave it for something private my dear.
Why didn’t Chetwyn use his wife or girl friend to do it? Is it true that she was paid $300.00 to do this? Was her boyfriend “cool” with other men licking chocolate off his woman’s body? or is he usually turned on by this behaviour? lol..
To me she was treated like a piece of meat by savage beast. I’ve heard comments from some men stating that she reveals to much and there is nothing left to be desired of her. How sad. I honestly think Banks Breweries had every right to do what they had to do as it is not at all good for the image of their brand.

The part that had me laughing with this girl was her comments in the Sunday Sun. “It was only 15 minutes…because her body heat caused the chocolate to melt”. Where did she go to school? …Standpipe High
Little did Saskia knows that 1 minute of a person’s life can be a death sentence. Fortunately it was for you Saskia. My woman could NEVER do that. I don’t care how good she looks, how pretty she is or how much money she would have been paid. There is something called self respect and self worth. Clearly she has none. Banks, your right for taking your stance. I hope that other brands will follow your lead and represent.
Before I go, couple gal friends of mine were actually surprised to see the now defunct Ms. Banks fully clad in the interview. Wow!!!! we actually thought that was quite cool because all her body parts are usually exposed. No pun intended.

I totally agree with Ray-J. There’s no way my woman could pull a stunt like that. I was there at the Powerx4 event and thought it to be totally distasteful, especially when other men were eating marshmellows of this girl. I was in shock.
I to was really shock to see Ms. X-Banks fully clothed in the newspaper interview. I believed that someone spoke to her but I really think that it was really too late for her.
Why would she even mention about it was only 15 minutes of having the chocolate on her? Ray-J you are so correct bro. 1 minute sometimes kill a person’s career. It is quite clear that banks beer, chocolate and marshmellows don’t mix. LOL….
I have seen women, whose bodies are not exposed at all, dressed nicely and are so appealing. When so much is revealed of a woman (all the time) there is nothing left for the imagination. Such as the case with Saskia.
I do believe that Banks had every right to do what they did. They should in the future enforce and set strict guidelines for this type of leud behaviour.

I don’t think she needed to do what she did. I am not her so I don’t know her thoughts on the issue except what she shares in the Nation interview. I could never contemplate doing anything like that and still expect to have a boyfriend after I’m finished. He does freak out if he thinks I am wearing something too revealing. I am assuming she doesn’t have a man who loves her/a man who she respects or that her guy lets her do her thing. I wouldn’t do it and I don’t think she needed to. I think youre all a bunch of friggin hypocrites . Banks displays women all the time with their backsides at the door and no one has a problem with it, she wore more with that chocolate than what she wore in the banks poster so i dont see what the issue is here. The only issue i see is that women are jealous of her body and men are jealous that they cannot have her body. As for the girl who knows her and shall hang her head in shame. OHH PUHLEASEEEEEEE as if that’s going to bother Saskia that you feel some sort fo shame stupese- save it honey. I want to say that i know the girl and she’s genuinely a good person, although i must admit a bit misguided to be involved with banks, power x4 or any other organisation using her like that,why are we mad at her and not at the ones doing the exploiting. I’m wondering why no one is saying anything about the banks posters with her cheeks at the door, are they not offensive as well? You know i think this is just a case of the green eyed monster namely jealousy and it’s twin envy raising their ugly heads. One minute we are confronted by large posters in and outside local shops with half dress calendar girls posted all year and then all of a sudden the promoters are crying foul. They believe their poster “lady” is tarnished when she appears topless in a dinghy full of chocolate. I saw some of the photos and although I know that being there would have been more arousing, the only arousal I experience was my curiosity. How is it I was seeing more of the gals outside of the dinghy that the actual Eye-Candy. The chocolate was a great substitute blouse or dress even. Surely, she was more enticing over the Internet. Seems to me the promoters created the image and she was living up to it.
