i was in the labour day bajan band. joell did a great job on the costumes dispite people stealing money for costumes and bringing out their own band.secondly i would like to see the bajan band to be more oragnized,we couldn’t hear the music in the front of the band they didn’t even know what to do with us till we reach troy ave. plastic bag did not sing, and the band they hired from barbados weren’t hype enough, didn’t know the words of the songs and were totally off key. timmy didn’t perform cause ncf wasn’t going to pay him, and he had hot songs. lill rick and peter ram was excluded and ended upon seseame flyers truck. what the hell is that. we as a people need to get our selves organize and support our own buy the damn costume buy a t-shirt.every year the trini band does come out united because they people does support them.ncf needs to start funding before cropover end so we could be more oragnize and send performers that won competitions in barbados and let ny know our real culture.
