Dickey is Coming (Rated D)
Dickey is coming to Barbados! That is the ad that I heard being blasted on local radio.At first I was confused as I thought dickey was already available here, after closer listening I realized that it was the American writer Eric Jerome Dickey who was cuming sorry coming back for a second visit.
.According to the ad, Dickey is now inviting females to show him Barbados romantic spots. Now I don’t know bout you but when a man name “Dickey” inviting my woman to show him romantic spots I sit up and take notice.
One of my female associates is a big fan of Dickey, I have seen Jan reading her Dickey books and seems quite obsessed, she is so ad-dick-ted to her Dickey literature that some times she brings the books to meetings so she can read a bit of Dickey in the breaks. Last time Jerome Dickey was here I heard he found it interesting what his last name meant in the Caribbean he acted as though it was just a coincidence. That doesn’t fool me one bit, a man who writes books targeted at women just happen to be named Dickey, yeah right!
How come his last name is the biggest thing on the cover?
You think he did not know that when he wrote DICKEY in big bold letters at the front of his books that women would buy them like Madd! And as for when he playing he does not know what his name means. In the United States where Jerome comes from, what is known as a “Dick”? So he just added “ey” to that and had the perfect marketing tool. I wonder about the female members of the Dickey family? I would like to see the woman who introduces herself as “Susie Dickey” she would probably make friends easily.
Now Mr Dickey is back again asking we women to show him romantic spots. He probably means like the Drill hall and other secluded beaches, and we know they do not call that beach the “Drill” hall for nothing.
Anyways, I have the perfect Boyce Voice answer for you to give your woman if she comes to you with any talk bout going to see Mr. Dickey:
Your woman; Hi hon, Eric Dickey is in town and I was thinking of going to see him…
You; That’s ok sweetie, Shelly Pussy came in as well and I also plan to pay her a visit, don’t wait up…

I sent the link to Cave Shepherd and got no response, but I realise now in their ad campaign they refuse to refer to him by his surname, he’s suddenly Eric Jerome this, or Eric that but never the D-Word, LOL

Shelly Pussy or Pussy Galore who is actually an author*** i have had her books since i was under ten years***** i was a bit confused by this eric jerome thing though and i actually thought eric jerome was another person. can you imagine not wanting to say eric jerome dickey
but any how i think this is a ploy to draw even more attention to the man dickey
also notice that Rihanna gets it on the act when she says -”you got de key so shut up and drive

He writes so well, his books make you want to buy more and come again and buy more everytime he brings something new. Dickey is so hard as an author, he sets the place on fire. I have lapped up all he spits out, now i am currently into his latest work. the fire and soul he breathes into those books, keeps black people alive, especially the women. I would not mind seeing him and having him read pages 52 – 64 of waking with enemies for me over and over again. That dickey man, is de sweetest thing that hit de streets of Barbados within the last 5 years. He always leave me wanting more. I never get enough of him. I think he leaves me unsatisfied, twice or three times a year from him is never enough…… Tell him I want more, at least if he were to give me something 6 – 8 times a year between studies, I’d be more satisfied. somebody tell Dickey that for me. this site was recommended.i am a die hard bajan but i love this site.it is cool and i will keep on checking.my teenage daughter loves ”dickey” and after i read one of his books i can see why.but she works in the airlines and dickey was blown away when she posed with beres and beenie man.keep it up .luv from bim
