David Kirton; Love his “Green Camouflage” tune
I was at David Kirton’s launch of his new album Time for Change a few months ago when I heard his Green Camouflage song. I fell in love with it immediately.
Anyone who knows me personally knows that my favorite colour is camouflage which happens to be illegal wear in Barbados. Since you cannot wear the clothing I compensate by wearing socks having a pen, part of my car is camouflage and as I sit writing this I am wearing a camouflage boxer (check out my pics below)
So when I heard David’s song I was impressed that some one had finally dedicated a song to a colour as magnificent as camouflage instead of just singing about women all the time. In addition to Green Camouflage there are 10 other tracks on David’s album described on his website as modern alternative roots reggae songs with organic strong lyrics. That means it’s healthy for you to listen to them.

I NEVER KNEW U HAD A FIXATION WITH CAMOUFLAGE, I DO ALSO. I HAPPENED TO HEAR THE SONG A FEW TIMES ON 98.1 THE ONE, I LIKED IT INSTANTLY, BUT THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A JAMAICAN TUNE. DE SONG TIGHT AND TODAY I UNDERSTOOD THAT IT WAS DAVID KIRTON, I FELT SO PROUD OF MY PEOPLES. PRODUCING MUSIC THAT IS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND THAT CAN BE HEARD THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND APPRECIATED. IT WAS ALSO THE PICK OF THE DAY ON THE 20TH SEPTEMBER. KUDOS TO DAVID. TAKE A LISTEN TO MASALA, RUBY TECH AND DAMIAN MARVAY, THE BAJANS ARE GETTING ON TOP OF THE GAME.
i ALSO HAVE A CAMOUFLAGE BOTTY RIDER. iT DOES WEAR REALLLLL GOOD, ESPECIALLY WHEN I CONSIDER HOW I GOT IT HERE IN BIM. LOL HAHAHAHAHAHA

the colors aint THEIRS to ‘own’ in the first place ..dem belong to Nature!
but maybe yes, a hint of chilldhood military jungle fantasies in dere too lol..
