Breaking News; 2 Face Idibia Shot!
My Friend Ingrid Holder called me with the news that African artiste 2-Face Idibia was shot and robbed in his home land Nigeria late Friday night. Apparently, Bandits attacked his convoy when he was on his way from the airport. Luckily he was only shot in his foot and at this time is in hospital receiving medical attention.
2-Face performed in Barbados about 2 weeks ago at an event entitled “Face 2 Face” promoted by Ingrid. This show also featured Tarrus Riley as one of the featured performers and was well attended.
Known for the song African Queen, Nigerian 2-Face Idibia made music history by becoming the first artist to win the Best African Act award at the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon. He is also a United Nations Embassador.
