Alison Hinds Music Video Faluma; Solo Album Coming soon
Have you heard the new tracks on Alison Hinds debut solo cd as yet?Well I have!
I was given album preview edition by her manager Van Gibbs and was able to get a listen which I will blog briefly on.
The Album is entitled “Soca Queen” and is definitely a must have for your CD collection when it comes out in November.
It is a mixture of old and new tracks and features Alison in diverse musical rhythms which will be sure to titillate you.
With out giving too much away I will tell you that one of the tracks on the album is the world famous “Faluma”

Alison did an interview and preview of the new album on the BBC 1xtra show last weekend. (I will post a link once BBC have put it in their archive)
The album came out in the UK last Monday although I have yet to find a copy in a store around here, so I ordered it from Amazon.. can’t wait for it to arrive.

Saw Alison perform over the weekend with Destra and Denise Belfon and she was very disappointing, she is sounding and looking tired

sometimes we have an off day, but alison is strong i am sure next time you see her, she will be her usual self, remember she is no longer a teeney bopper hopping around the stage, she does her thing with grace and grace does not mean slow or old…

Love it, Love it Alison Hinds, Destra and Denise Belfon. Very stronge black woman.
