These music awards are not based on merit and its all political. How can you have a company that owns publishing/ manufactures/and distrbutes artists on a panel??????????
Also managers and promoters!! Some artists are winning awards that dont even have a cd farless a website.....
Garbage.

Do remember that Timeless Entertainment is responsible for the composition of the panel. It is they who invite persons to be members of the panel. It is this panel that should be scrutinised and the relationship to those who ended up being nominated. Then the objectiveness of the panel can be assessed. For example, if a panel member has a publishing deal with a nominee, this is a problem. If a panel member legally represents a nominee, this is a problem. If a panel member has a direct financial interest in a nominee's future, then this is a problem. Barbados is small, yes, and everybody is rubbing shoulders. Therefore, the process has to be evaluated accordingly (with a pinch of salt or a dash of pepper). Getting an entirely neutral panel in such a small place with the appropriate knowledgeof the industry and its 'players' would be very difficult. It appears the politics of inclusion has been used, and clearly the net has missed some people. If anyone can think of a better process however, now is the time to suggest/re-suggest it.
