Diversification. That is the word for the day. That is also the watch word of Keann Walters one of our popular entertainers and Bacchanal Time calypsonians. Keann has now opened her own Boutique in Independence Square Bridgetown entitled “Celebrity Gals and Kids”. There you can find a variety of fashionable wear targeted at – yes you guess it – women and children.

Boyce Voice asked Keann how come she did not sell men’s clothes if we are not anybody? Keann said that men do not buy clothes bow, that women will buy clothes and shoes at the drop of a hat when ever they go out, but men would buy a set of clothes and make them last for the next two years.

I was going to respond with some colourful language then I stopped I realized that last time I bought clothes WAS two years ago. I also realized that if I were to respond colorfully Keann might damage some part of me, so I smartly agreed.
The truth is, men don’t get to buy much clothes for our selves as we are too busy buying the clothes FOR the women and the kids.

Some years ago Madd opened a retail store “Rue Rue” in Bridgetown and it was a challenging experience. So credit and our support should go to Keann as she embarks in her new revenue generation venture. Remember you don’t have to be a celebrity to shop at “Celebrity Gals and Kids” but you will meet celebrity singer Keann.
