2007 New Bajan Xmas Music; Pong – Scrawl Up Xmas
Last year he was getting nothing for Xmas. This year he is having a Scrawl Up Xmas.
Blogging about our local calypso star Pong.
In 2006 he sung how he got nothing for Xmas as he had been a naughty boy, but this year he went “underground” with producer Darron Grant who produced a song that will be ponging in your ears, “Scrawl Up Xmas”. This will be the first time recording with a producer other that Andy Armstrong of Red Head Studios who discovered Pong.

I usually tell people to avoid the use of Xmas as a substitute for Christmas following the recent awareness that this was an attempt to remove Christ out of Christmas. Literally putting and X through Christ and celebrating the mas in their unbelieving way. But when I hear Pong’s song, I hear all the joys of a Christmas and the inclusion of Christ. Have a Christ filled Christmas Pong and all others in the Blogosphere

Although the X crosses out Christ for unbelievers
