Lil Rick; Girls Gone Wild Music Video
Lil Ricks first music video features Girls going wild for real!
U have to compliment his management Santia and the Pyramid Entertainment Group on this spectacular wuck up video production.
Girls Gone Wild is a video which touches your heart and other places, you will want to watch it again and again.
I find the performance of the women to be captivating and intense, the dancer on the cycle seems to be so engaged in her task she is fascinating.
Most Men and certain women will be titillated by the gyrations featured in “Girls Gone Wild” Click on Link below to view..

I have to commend him on achieving a music video. The song is good, great at that and he has matched the content in the video with the song well.

Bare wukkin up…I love this song. Hopefully more Bajan artistes get the opportunity to produce high quality videos (I know it’s expensive and getting the support isn’t easy).

I saw the promotion on Tele and i have to say. This was very well executed. Was not to Raw was delicately balanced and even tho he himself was not in the mix,per say…
I think that it was well done. Women look like breadfruit COu COU and jug jug……
Nice……… : )

The closer we get to full-scale porn it seems the ‘better’ our music videos are. Lord help Barbados! That Lil Rick is talented is not in question, nor the video mix, producers, etc. It’s a pity the girls can’t see for themselves and respect themselves. Where are the men in all this … behind the camera no doubt.
Cha!

Hello bloggers, with crop-over just around the corner, I hope the class acts are preparing several compilations to market all over , oh, congrats boyce, perhaps the calvacades can also be recorded and marketed, both audio and video.

class acts ???
is this a racist, class divisive comment or what ?
April 9th, 2008 at 10:40 am
i WAS GOING TO RESPOND but you beat me to it Assiba. What we should be hoping for the betterment of the Festival and the genres is for new acts to emerge and help make the scene truly DYNAMIC.
I was not going to respond to his comments becuz it was a normal Bajan desire to be conservative and hope for the status quo to remain. Even though the possiblity exists even myself might be considered a class act (I doubt due to my “keep it real” social commentary and provacative language) I still know that if the class acts are prevailing it results in a festival not developing.
Power for change in the entertainment scene!

Site: With your skilll you have the potential to reach further audiences. Its just that you have concentrated for now on a local market with parochial themes for the social commentary crowd. You are effectively reaching your target audience and have the trophies to prove it. Now if you want to target different or wider audiences different approaches would be required. I remember Lil Rick saying once he didn’t care about overseas (or something to that effect I think) because he was a Bajan super star. It probably had to do with the then controversy over theTrinidad lady calypsonian whose name just won’t come to me right now. But recently he has produced some fantastic stuff which, along with his music videos, will definitely attract a wider audience. The ‘Businessman’ is living up to his name.

And by the way, I wasn”t trying to be conservative, just pragmatic. No need to be ‘radical’ for being radical sake. Thats reality, the facts….. and somebody said facts are stubborn things.

Hi guys, I am all for the betterment of the festival and for new acts to come through, however, we have to accept that their are ”class acts”, like you site, who are capable of, and have to open doors for these new acts to follow.
Site, you are one of the successful artiste that have the responsibility of paving the way for the new and up-coming artiste. asiba, in terms of poetry and writings that responsibility rests with you and others like eric lewis, to name a few.

racist, stereotypical, elitist crap —done so naturally that it is not even realised as such
part of the mental slavery in which we find ourselves submerged and which leads to all kinds of discrimiation, segregation and categorisation
how does it helps us grow as people
we become selfish and selfserving –creating an elite CLASS and tending towards eucrocentric values of an era past that gave rise to the notion of divide and rule
bribery with words and material things

Ken..I understand what you were saying and thank you for your comments. To me you were really just longing for the excitement of CropOver and the excitement generated by the established acts….and your comments about the experienced acts paving the way is correct.
Baje, the attainment of international exposure/fame is good but it is not entirely satisfying. It is something I would like but not necessarily yearn for. If all the artistes go in that direction then the culture of Barbadiana would die out as they are no young exponents to carry it on. A mixture of Barbadiana type artistes and internationally bound artiste is what is required.
ASIBA…i WILL NOT SPELL IT WRONG AGAIN.

Bajan are definetely exhibiting another part (if not major) of our culture to the EXTREME, Upon witnessing the videoone must laugh and being a Bajan you can definitely relate to the smoothness involved in gyrating those hips with such consistency. Wucking up is we, we are bajan , Bajan is wuck up, I hope i do continue to see the local talent and such an exciting dance form explore to new Horizons, i will definetely continue to advocate that we are the true wuck up Kings and Queens of the Caribbean, Please remember jumping up and down or just simply jucking is really not considered wucking up…. what was just seen is the most precised demonstration of wuck up.Good Job to all those who were involved in the video
