Ok now there are some among you Mr Traxx included, who would say that the error is the Hon Prime Minister is now David Thompson, is that what you said?
Well YOU ARE WRONG! Yes the PM is now David, but the really big error is that MY NAME IS NOT MENTIONED..
I see Shontelle, Lil Rick, Beanieman , Machel etc, but where is mention of Peter Boyce?
Ive got a good mind to phone Ronnie and give him a piece of my mind if I didn’t think he would withdraw my invite.
I always figured that when I heard Rihanna was not coming I would have been the featured act, you know how many legions of People would flock to the gym to meet Peter Boyce?
They are scores of people looking to curse me or lick me up for something I wrote on Boyce Voice and Ronnie would have had a sold out show..
wait till I see show producers Ronnie Morris then and that one Russel Ruck!! and I will be seeing them when I attend the Barbados Music Awards this Sunday, looking forward to seeing you there as well…
P.S; Did I mention Boyce Voice was nominated for a BMA award? I have my acceptance speech done write, If I don’t win, I have another kind of speech which will make the gym a most colourful place to be…

Wow! What a dilemma. Imagine that all of the invitations and trophies may have the Rt Hon Owen Arthur printed on them. I wonder how political correct that is.
The Barbados Music Awards
They planned the 2008 Awards with early timing
Had expectations that it would be hosted by Owen
Etched his name all over the memorabilia
But he called elections, lost and is no longer Prime Minister
All the invitations gone out, has his name
RSVPs to ordinary people and people of fame
But it boggles me what you are expected to do
After you’ve read that Owen is inviting you
David didn’t send the invitation to me
Or anyone else from the Governing party
So what would happen if I still went
Many like me received similar invitations they sent
Unable to change it now so I’ll write and say
Send me a limo to pick me up that day
I heard with Rihanna gone I’m the next best celebrity
Come pick me up in the pm around 6:30
And we’ll stop to collect Peter Boyce
When I’m not there he’s your second choice
And I hear his blog may be getting a trophy
Read it and you’ll see why it’s a deserving nominee

Right now man, all I want to know is what the artistes, especially the Jazz artistes, are nominated for. I mean, song, album, that sort of thing.

I agree with those comments
I believe there is too much talk at this time
Just play the music let the people enjoy what they want
stop censoring the music ad saying this is not calypso and that is not calypso
calypso is more than structure of A SONG
if i sing two lines in a verse and one line in chorus -it is a calypso if i the artist says it is.
the artist himself determines what is art
come on admiral and larry play the friggin music and cut down on the every year for the last 30 years talk that gwine on
