The little bashment here is quite healthy but some people need to understand West Indian artforms and entertainment. The criticism of KB IMO was a little bit overboard: he wasn't vulgar, abusive.tasteless or anything like that....it seems peeps wanted a lot of polish for this show and the majority of the population wasn't entirely interested in polish.This is a country is which the emerging youth are more expressive of their Bajan identity and not as ashamed of it as the older generation. Some people do feel that as Royalty like RHI RHI and the PM and HIS ENTOURAGE were present we should have brought out the best plates and cutlery and display the best behaviour and proper language. That is debatable but this is just another nine day wonder in Barbados....Barbados is one of the most classist islands in the West Indies and with one side bashy/ghetto and the lesser side bourgie there will always be debate/criticisms. And thanks to Boyce Voice, we were getting photos from the time Rihanna landed. Sometimes, being at home has its advantages. I am generally pleased with most I’ve seen and overjoyed with Rihanna in an impromptu setting.
