Boyce on a Board
“Peter Boyce, you have been selected to be on the CBC board!”, from the time I got the call from the PM I have been practicing. As you can see from above picture I spent quite a bit of time “on a board” before it was explained to me that’s not what they had in mind.
Now I am watching CBC TV and listening to CBC radio stations like madd so I can make valid contributions when I participate as a director on the board of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.
It is quite an honor to have been selected by the Prime Minister to be a board director on a corporation as prestigious as the CBC. Considering my controversially nefarious reputation which is now even more re-enforced by the colorful discourses exemplified on this blog, some might think the PM is taking a chance. How ever I endeavor to rise to the occasion, or the occasions when meetings are convened and emit a level of performance and representation which would be a credit to the industry.
The CBC board contains a diverse selection of people including Leroy Parris of Clico as Chairman, Vice Chair Janette Layne Clarke and also not one but TWO pastors, so I know we will have some fun.
I would like to publicly thank the PM for having the confidence in my abilities to give me this opportunity to serve.
In the mean time I will continue my “board” practice, I am certain at some time Chairman Leroy Parris will convene a directors meeting in CBC yard and we will be giving boards expected to be adept at being “on them”, I want to be ready!
If during the reading of this blog there is any thing I might have written which might have incensed or offended you, GET OVER IT! There are many things I read and hear in the media on a daily basis that I don't like either. SO DEAL WITH IT! You are welcome to leave your comments though. Make sure and come back yuh hear !!!...

perhaps we will finally see an end to the endless music videos from non Barbadian or even Caribbean artists that have been used as fillers on CBC TV for the last 10 years. With so many Barbadian’s investing in quality music videos they there is no reason for this to continue. Then you can work on the COSCAP payments from CBC TV was that ever resolved?
Congrats and we know your representation for the music and entertainment industry in your new position will be a benifit for Barbados in general.

Peter we all got faith in you being able to give your unique freshness to this board. We also know that you are able to behave appropriately in what ever the situation. You were tested and like came up like gold. There are many people who see the astuteness in the PM’s decision in giving you this appointment. I’m a little doubtful about it myself and though I agree that it does in no way transcend you, I will more favor a position in the NCF.

Every one would expect that you’ll be
On top of this new appointment easily

One name stood out, that of Peter Boyce. You must have noticed my regular comments and writings on this blog and Boyce Voice. Well, now you know, you can expect lots from Peter. My best wishes.
The Choice Is Boyce
This evening, actually just a few moments ago
Heard Peter Boyce will have a say in every TV Show
Entertainment should be improving on the TV screen
CBC should be revamping and changing their routine
Have lots of others who’ll be sitting there too
One can expect change when Peter makes his debut
I’ve been listening for sometime to Peter’s voice
Choosing him for the board is a very smart choice
Exceptionally vocal and always ready
I see Peter Boyce as much more than mere comedy
Someone caring for entertainment and someone who will
Bring value to the simplest task and who still
Organizes people and time with precision and care
You can expect excellence once Peter in there
Congratulations to Government for making this choice

just got the news, congrats on your achievement, keep up the good work, CBC will be a much better place with you on the board.
I also hope that Rosemary will be given a more serious and responsible role at the CBC.

Asiba, Rosemary is a classy lady, who’s full of talent and ideas. In my opinion she needs an environment within which to showcase this talent. The new board, with its’ present chairman, and Peter, has the ability to create such an environment. They are forward thinking people.

Well Mr. Boyce congrats on getting a peice on the CBC Board. That board that you are on looks like it is some place that i know lol, but if you falls off you would land the right place or mayb on one of these other boards Dealboard Limeboard Pineboard lol
