To UnMannerly People

The tourists that will stop coming

I hate unmannerly rassole people! Don’t you?
I walked into a mini mart this week and said “good night”, there were several customers and a cashier within ear shot and not one of them unpick their teeth and response. They were unmannerly as ass!

When you are popular you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
If I walk pass people and don’t speak, they say “looka Boyce playing he high up and better off, now he get a lil pick pun cbc board he ent know nobody”. Yet if you speak nobody is not answering.

To all people reading this blog when Peter Boyce or any body for that matter, pass and speak try and open your mouth and respond hear?
It is Barbadian to be polite and we are supposed to be friendly unlike places like New York and them big countries. That’s why the tourists come down here because we are friendly freaking people.

When you stop speaking the tourists will stop coming and that will reduce our gross domestic income and increase the fiscal deficit, next thing you know Barbados is in a financial recession and in the hands of the I.M.F all because you would not open your unmannerly mouth and say “Good Morning”.

I had a meeting with the PM the other day, and I was going to suggest to him the government should try to pass some “speak” legislation and make it a chargeable offence for people to be unmannerly with out just cause.
But all that can be avoided if you just open your mouth and say good morning and good night when spoken too, the financial future of your country depends on it!

To assist you here are some Boyce Voice lessons;

If some one passes and says good morning….

You say: “Good Morning!”

If some one walks into a supermarket and says good night…

You say; “Good Night!”

Practice a few times until you get it right…

Boyce is leaving the computer…. “Good Bye!”

    Hey mon!

you should have said -good evening on arriving
    and good night on leaving

maybe those people felt threaten by you arriving and saying goodnight which in the wild olld days of the wild wild west would have meant that a fella would have drawn his gun and try to take you out before you did the same to him

    so be careful
you actually threatened those people and they were numb with fear that is why they did not react and to besides i would bet that they were all WOMEN or majority women

    hey by the way
it seems as though Asiba-The Buffalo Soldier comments quite a bit

the reason for this is that the first thing i do when i get close to a computer is to check my email –

then the first thing i do after that is to check BOYCEVOICE
then cnn, for (american news) ; bbc( for world news), then cricinfo -for cricket news and then anything else after that

    p
I had many mornings of saying good morning to my staff and fellow colleagues and the hardest were my bosses and never getting responses. I always look for reasons but up until now, I am still unresolved. I have learnt not to use this as a measuring tool to judge others. I treat all people as unmannerly and when they step out of my expectations, I’m happy. People think me as starchy because I loft expletives and have never used even the mildest but I am usually forgiven for my antisocial behavior and respected by my friends for my stuffy demeanor. I should say that sometime in a weak moment I have said “bastard” while describing people who were obviously not and every time I’ve seen Peter, he has been very responsive both brick and click and on the beach too!

    Unmannerly

Unable to live beyond the miniscule sphere
Not conditioned to see beyond their nose and to hear
    Mornings and other salutations bring
All unmannerly people are only about what they are doing
Never let them define the things that you do
None of them should have any power on you
Eyes may roll, ears fold and their lips zipped
Regardless to their demeanor, don’t get into it
Let you be you and the dead will bury the dead
Your demeanor is what is letting you get ahead
