The level of this discourse on this marriage post has gone to a next level,
Stephanie don’t mek no sport at all with her prenup agreement, I don’t have a problem with signing a prenup unless you have more money than me, then it stands between us having true love.. As asiba says “no romance without finance” which ties into my previous whore post…

That was impressive transition Lyrical lava merging your comment into an endorsement for your marriage event; you should work in marketing…

MORE ABOUT MARRIAGE

Some years ago it dawned on me that Marriage is a financial arrangement
Money figures very prominently in life and marriage is an aspect of life that is very much iinfluenced by money. Love is not neccessarily a crucial factor in this marriage thing and when we examined the situation we can agree that many marriages depend on what you bring to the table financially. Women with their damsel in distress mentality feel that men are to provide for them , that men are the ones to bear the brunt in everything. Women's fantasies include marrying a millionaire. If a man does not meet that profile he is merely tolerated not really loved.

I DO

These two words commits a MAN to torment or to biss

For something so seriously engaging
To think that 2 little words
can commit a man for the rest
of his life to years or torment or months of bliss is a numbing thought

Funny enough I was thinking about this subject this morning even before I read this thread and this is why I have responded

Peter I'm going to stick my neck out and hope it doesn't get "pop" by my female counterparts and say that we women have to take a lot of the blame for men's dismal outlook on getting married.

The fact is that many of us either throw away the tiara/ halo we wear on the wedding day and become all types of freaks after we get "de ring pun we finga".

Some of us have been control freaks - because we move out from home earlier than me we think we are better at running the finances.

Other become freaks in bed. That is, most of the time when the husband wants to have sex we women have some "freaky" excuse to get out of it.

Then there is the fashion freak that knows that the man was broke when we married them but still we want to get our hair, nails and toes done every other week and cuss the men when they can't deliver on our extravagances.

I don't blame the men... although, men must admit that some of your are straight up freaks.

That is why I love Operation Marriage Restore and look forward to their cruise on the MV Harbour Master on November 1 (shameless plug).

Board it as a freak and get off freak-free!

(By the way, I got tickets to sell lol - another shameless, unadulterated plug!)
