Chris Brown hitting Rihanna? is he Mad?
What could have possessed Chris Brown’s brain that he could think could raise his hand and hit our Bajan Superstar Combermere Queen Rihanna?
Hast he eaten from the root of ignorance, is he on drugs or is he just a dumb ass?
There we were looking for Rihanna to perform at the Grammys last night and to see her win some more awards and shout out “Barbados this one is for you” one more time.
Next thing we hear this morning how Chris Brown and Rihanna were driving on their way to Grammys got in an argument and Brown injured a Fenty in her face and turned himself into Police. As a result of the incident neither of them made it to the awards.
When you look at a superstar of the stature of Rihanna her face, her legs, her entire body is worth millions of dollars.Look at all the lucrative endorsements Rihanna is involved in, Clinique, Nike, JC Penny Jeans and you would see what Brown threatens when it crosses his little brain to hit her.
Rihanna needs to set an example for all the females out there who have been hit by stupid ass men, press charges against Brown and leave his dumb chewing gum endorsement ass. Rihanna is way bigger than Chris Brown and she doesn’t need to be associated to have him to help her career.
I already told my son I don’t want to hear him listening to Chris Brown music or watching his videos again, Chris Brown he needs to see Rihanna Fenty and dont see she, good!
Brown should now be Persona non grata as it relates to him visiting Barbados in the future and if Rihanna doesn’t leave his ass, it’s going to be me and her or to bajanise it “me and she”!

Like you I was very disturbed about the alleged attack on our own Superstar Rihanna Fenty by Chris Brown. I read various news reports and so far the only factual part of the reports is that Chris Brown turned himself in and confessed to having assaulted a woman. What ever the circumstances no man had any right to hit a female. And with the night being what it was, it seems even less controlled and greater immaturity.

I’m not defending the actions of Chris Brown (if he actually done what was claimed), but if we don’t know all the details, it’s not our place to make assumptions. Has it ever crossed anyones mind that Rihanna could be lying or something? Just trying to take a neutral position on all this. I Strongly believe that it’s not right for a man to put his hands on a woman but this rule should also be applied to females as well. No one has the right to put their hands on anybody whether boy or girl, cow or goat. So rather than saying Rihanna deserves it or Chris Brown is a dog, we should wait until clearer details and known and not based our ‘judgments’ on dodgy rumours. Thats all

It was definitely wrong that he put his hands on her And it was also alleged that Rihanna was controlling and posessive anyway and that she often hit Chris Brown too.I think its all a matter of respect no one should put they hands on anyone, male or female.Its more to the story so everybody need quit feeling sorry for Rihanna and stop baggin on Chris Brown like the situation is all his fault.

People, why is everyone so quick to judge. How do we know she didn’t have some or all the bruises before they hooked up. Right now everything is alledged. Listen by now it is obvious that Chris Brown beat up Rihanna. She didn’t hit herself.
He is already paying for his actions. Wrigley gum has suspended his ad campaign with them and he will probably eventually lose that endorsement and others. He is now labeled a woman-beater and that will affect his career in the short to medium term. Not to mention the large legal fees that he will pay for his defense will hurt his pocket. He has hired attorney Mark Geragos, best known for defending convicted murderer Scott Peterson, and Michael Jackson during his child molestation trial.
In addition, I talked to a frined in Bim who has to deal with Police due to his job. He said that they told him that Chris Brown already beat Rihanna in Barbados before. Hmmmm.
He is a hypocrite as he recently went on the Tyra Banks show and talked about how torn up he was at domestic abuse as his mother was in an abusive relationship. In the end he will probably get probation and nothing more. Maybe he should be sentenced to community service down Deacons Farm. LOL.
He better don’t step foot in Bim EVER AGAIN.

Mr. Boyce, I am so with you once again. It was heart-breaking to hear of this young love turning so horribly wrong. It’s easy for all of us to say our piece, however, (if the allegations are correct) I hope Rihanna is wise enough to take a break. When you’re in love, one tends to forgive easily, and maybe Rihanna might do just that. According to several medias, Rihanna seems unwilling to press charges, which makes me wonder, maybe this has happened before, which makes this situation even more scarier. This whole situation with Rihanna and Chris Brown is disturbing because NOBODY should hit anybody, it is also very sad because in all their pictures they look so happy and in love. Why couldn’t they have it all fame, fortune and good love. I hope this is a situation they can both work out together, or if necessary apart. They both need help. I’m waiting to hear what really happened and if Rihanna is going to let this go through the LA court system.
It already has a negative impact on him losing a major contract I’m sure putting him under more pressure, I hope there is no more fall out for either of them.

Ok….what’s the real reason, is it herpes, a text message, him checking out another woman? Chris and Rihanna are NORMAL, REGULAR individuals. They come from the same background and lives of many of us. They just happened to be propelled into the spotlight and have more money than most of us. These type of things happened to the famous and the not-so-famous all of the time! My comment about abstinence until marriage was moderated BUT
Given the make up of our present society, I believe that in this day of AIDS, people should abstain from sex until marriage or a serious commiitment to a partner such as a long term relationshiip with a boyfriend or girlfriend as the case might be. When committed or married, they should be faithful to their partners.
For me Marriage is when a man takes a woman as his woman and the woman takes him as her man. The church and the courts is just to legalize the union. Not going to a church or court does not mean that a man cannot take a woman as his wife. In some places you jump over a broom. In other places you kiss an individual in public in front of witnesses
From a cultural and historic perspective, marriage as we know it: the wedding ceremony and the legal ramifications is a recent phenomenon that was pushed by the Europeans to safeguard ownership of land and other riches. The idea was that such material things should remain in the hands of people of a select circle. You had situations , therefore where cousins married cousins just to keep that wealth in the family. The various royal families are good examples of this pratice.

I think people should look at the bigger picture as to why this happened to Chris and Ri. This is not something that will go away, meaning it has to be dealt with by both parties. First of all she should absolutely not get back with him. Neither of them should have any relationship until they deal with the issues that they have which is embedded in their childhood. Ri is from a broken home as well as Chris. What they should do is to have some individual counseling as well as family counseling. Rihanna should not carry on, business as usual until she deal with this issue. If she does not, she will meet another Chris Brown later in life and the same thing can happen again. (I work in Behavioral Health, this is only my opinion). It shows why parents should explain things to their children and get help when they are going through problems with their spouses. I read that some of Rihanna’s family is speaking to the press. If I were them I would stay quiet and dont complicate things. It may be flattering when the media her in New York wants to talk to you, but they really don’t care about you, it is just to sell papers and magazine. So her family should be aware. All in all Chris still should be made to face the consequences of his actions, no-one has the right to lay their hands on another person, whatever the reason. They are ways to deal with personal problems.

Yes Chris brown is a great singer. But it doesn’t give him the right to put his hands on Rihanna what so ever. He should have thought about his career and his reputation before he pulled this. Everyone keeps feeding more to the story so nobody real knows what happened for sure. Well we the people seem to be highly disturb of the allegations which recently surfaced with C.Brown n Rihanna. Before i go any further i knew she was going to get some good blows sooner or later, she had no right with him i nthe first place. I said this in the beginning when their relationship hit the light and i will continue to say such. I have nothing agqinst C.Brown, but my god! Rihanna needs to wake up. I firmly Rihanna thinkd like all those teen boppers out there when it comes to CB , oh he iso cute , he can dance , girl that boy can sing, this is how she sees him, as a superstar, and fail to realise that she is on sitting on a higher pedestal , wake up Rihanna . this whole mess can be tackled from all angles, to identify who isright from wrong and what could have triggered this young man to behave as such . I have no problem with aman putting two blows in some of the females sometimes, i didn’t say women cuz for the simple fact they don’t act like women . Real woman who act as such wull be treated as such.
