You should hear how people are carrying on on talk radio in Toronto. How Madonna thinks she is better than everyone else and she is only looking for publicity and she should wait the 18-24 months (living in Malawi). If Madonna wanted publicity she doesn't have to resort to adopting a child. And the quicker we can give a poor Africa child a chance at a better life the better. Why wait 18-24 months if the person is a woman, wealthy enough to support the child, already adopted a previous child from the same country and things are going well? The big loser here is the child Mercy. Instead of having a shot at a decent life she may remain impoverished. All of this to prove a point to Madonna, but at what cost?
