Cant Hush about “Hush 3″ Bajan Movie
I can’t hush about “Hush 3 Twisted Innocence”, it was too good, I will hush about the details of the plot cause I don’t want to spoil it for you as you should be making it your business to head up to Olympus and buying your ticket to support this 100% Bajan production.
I must compliment Marcia Weekes for a well written and produced Movie, I would like to compare it to Hush 1 & 2 but Hush 3 was the first I saw in the series.
What I can say is that Hollywood has a tendency that when they get to # 3 in a sequel its a waste of time, look at Matrix part 3 and see what I mean.
But that doesn’t happen with “Hush 3”, the storyline was engrossing and there’s a super twist in the plot line that I didn’t expect at all. The characters were well developed and also well acted by the mainly youthful cast.
The cast director did an excellent job as I found everyone believable in their roles.
Mac Fingall, I was very impressed with Mac’s acting skills, at first when I saw him as a coach I was saying that’s not really a stretch for Mac as he does that in real life, it’s like casting me as an idiot, I wouldn’t have to act.
But Mac was not only funny as expected but was impactful in the dramatic emotional scenes, like visiting a youngster in prison and crying even, I was quite moved. However if you saw me in the theater crying at that point, something was in my eye.
Mac by the way hails from Celebration Time, which is not germane to this topic but u know how I like to promote.
I was very impressed with the production standards maintained throughout the movie, the music and the action on the screen blended well together , you heard a good blend of Christian and secular tracks like “Big Hail” by Lil Rick (also from Celebration Time).
I will have to give my friend Merville Lynch video productions credit for the impressive photography and editing, if you ask him he might deny knowing me but I have worked with him for years and obviously he learnt something from me.
In addition to sexual abuse both male to female and male to male, in the movie homophobia was also dealt, with along with lesbianism thrown in for good measure.
Must confess that the abuse especially man to man was a bit much to take, but its necessary to show the bleak reality we live in.When I say its a Christian production don’t let that deter you from going regardless of your state with the man upstairs, you will enjoy it as its simply a good movie.
Its a source of pride that we can walk into Olympus cinema and see a Bajan film in regular rotation complete with a display poster and everything. Kudos once more to Marcia Weekes for scripting, directing, accessing the funding and bringing Hush 3 to spectacular life.
I think I need to hush now, I have said enough.
Ps.
Watch for the closing credits for the film bloopers they are hilarious
P.Boyce is leaving the Cinema all puffed up with pride and popcorn

Mr. Boyce, I’d like to correct a major error you made in this blog. Merville Lynch is NOT responsible for the photography or editing of ANY of the three HUSH films. I understand how you could be mislead as his name is plastered all over the movie and it’s promo material.
That credit belongs to Shane ‘Fresh’ Holford of Fresh Productions.
