Hi. This is me, Peter Boyce by the office. I think I am pretty damn Handsome! Unfortunately that is not a popular opinion shared outside of my immediate family.

I wanted to give you a brief profile of myself so you would have an idea who is writing this blog.

I am the Managing Director of Madd Entertainment Co. Ltd responsible for coordinating its many entrepreneurial activities.

I also read in the media in 2005 that I was a cultural administrator and I thought it sounded cool so I decided I would go around and use that title too.

Managing Madd Entertainment includes organising the title-winning Bacchanal Time Calypso Tent, coordinating our Crop Over album release, doing video productions and comedy radio shows, and oh I perform as Ali Singh too! Aren’t I a busy boy?

In addition to that I am involved in several cultural representative organisations. I was President of The Barbados Association Of Tent Managers for several years, I am now its Treasurer. I am also Secretary to the United Artistes of Barbados and have been in the forefront of the fight against piracy in Barbados for several years.

The objective of this blog is not only to educate but to entertain you; whether or not you are an entertainer you should find it interesting. Darron Grant came to me with the idea to do this blog, but a majority of the opinions expressed are mines so don’t blame him for the content. Darron motivated me to participate and I wish to thank him for encouraging and leading me in this venture.

Well I guess that is it, did I mention I was good looking? You can see from the picture, my assistant Keisha took it, she didn’t agree with me though, subsequently she is now looking for a job…
