Peter, I like that one. This reminded me of an email I got just last night from one of my Face Book friends.
This guy left Barbados & went overseas to study law. He came back to Barbados & wanted to proove to the Bajans that he is Big Shot now, so he open a law office in Bridgetown. While sitting at his desk he spot a man coming towards the office. He pick de phone up real fast (knowing full well that he aint got nah juice yet from Lime) & start to pretend as if he was speaking to an overseas client. He bekon the man in the office & start talking LOUD & BIG bout million dollar settlement blah, blah, blah! He put de phone down, look at the guy & ask in a Big Shot voice "WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU"? The guy looked at him unimpressed & said. "I AM HERE FROM THE TELEPHONE COMPANY TO CONNECT YOUR LINE".
Asssssssssssssssssssss!
Peter, that is what you would call "An Educated ASS"!

It’s still hard to believe that he is gone. Watching all his videos being replayed has been a reminder of the genius in Michael. I didn’t listen as carefully to the words of his songs as I should have but recently I did. That you for this opportunity to express my feelings, I don’t have the same freedom with our local newspaper and at a time when local talent is being spotlighted, or maybe they see my work as talentless. Regardless, I have some really earnest feelings that I wanted to share.

<a href="http://blog.bajanpoetry.com/2009/06/26/michael-gone-too-soon.aspx" rel="nofollow">Michael - Gone Too Soon</a>

Moonwalks across the stage
I see him and I see the fans’ rage
Can’t get enough it’s gone too soon
He vanishes like the shadows at high noon
A song sung with no harmony then the music comes in
Entertainers pluck their guitar string
Like the sunset that dies with the rising of the moon
Gone with a the twinkling of the eye, gone too soon
On a cloudy day the sun may vanish away
No time to play, goon too soon, ‘til another day
Evening sky lit with the blazing comet
Tail gone too soon, you can’t find it
Or a rainbow shiny and sparkling, splendidly bright
Overhead is gone too soon when evening makes night
Sand castle built on the tide line at the beach
Overcome and gone too soon within the waves’ reach
Our Michael with his muse, inspiration and delightful tune
Now or at any time later would be Gone Too Soon!

Another Acrostic Poem from

I came up listening to his songs and I grew up with him. Michael’s changes in life coincided with mine. The fashion and music was parallel. I listened then to all the tabloids and their gross inaccuracies but back then they meant something to me. I started to move away from this musical genius because I disapproved of his life but later I heard as he denounced one after the other. I wanted to believe Michael and shortly afterwards I was back in his corner. Three decades afterwards I am totally impressed with the skill of Michael Jackson.

<a href="http://blog.bajanpoetry.com/2009/06/26/a-tribute-to-michael-jackson.aspx" rel="nofollow">A Tribute To Michael Jackson</a>

A shock rippled through the globe that day
The King of Pop music had passed away
Rumors of his lifestyle was blasted feverishly
I didn’t care for the alleged, it’s the truths I see
By the time he was five years old he was a superstar
Uniting fans with his skills from countries afar
The next 4 decades he made the stage a wife
Entertained and pioneered entertainment with his extraordinary life
This boyish man gave more than generously
Over pushed himself at the dismay of his family
Michael Jackson sat by the bedsides of kids suffering
In the shadows of his spotlight he prayed for people dying
Collaborated with greats to produce even greater songs
Heal the World and Black and White to right global wrongs
And this hip popping, crotch grabbing star with his single glove
Eloquently shared off stage his big heart and liberal love
Lots of awards celebrated his dynamic fame
Jackson was loved by fans and Presidents the same
As a kid I just knew that his songs made me feel
Clouds laid beneath the places where I sat or kneel
Kindness is a deed to most but it was a condition to him
Selflessly he dug into his pockets even when times were grim
Out of my life but the Thriller will never be gone
No time will erase the Legacy which this Legend had drawn

He is the greatest entertainer of all time. Not even Elvis or Sinatra can touch him because Micahel Transcended race, class and generations. Look at all of the vigils held worldwide in cities around the world. He was much loved.

Listening to all of his hits was very emotional. My personal top 5 Michael Jackson songs are: Beat It, Billie Jean, Man In The Mirror, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, and Bad

For anyone 30 years or older, his music is the soundtrack of our lives. I still can't beleive it. This is unreal. How can our Michael be gone?

My Goodness I am surprised no-one on this thread attacked any of the guest judges of which I was one. I tried to be as fair as possibly with the girls who all have potential. However, the show needs structuring - there are many types of Amateur models - print, screen, hand.
